Dйchirer is a series of large format through-body porcelain tiles designed by Patricia Urquiola. Dйchirer is notable for its patterns and textures made possible through the technology used in production. The series won the 2009 Best of NeoCon Silver Award in the Hard Surface category. It also won the Elle Deco International Design Awards (EDIDA) in 2009 in the wall coverings category. The collection explores the expressive potential of ceramics, incorporating patterns and colors that are inspired by the nature and the consistency of concrete.
