SHEETROCK® brand Mold Tough™ gypsum liner panels have a noncombustible, moisture- and mold-resistant gypsum core encased in moisture- and mold-resistant, 100 percent recycled blue face and back papers. The panels are UL Classified as to fire resistance (Type SLX) and feature double-beveled edges for easy installation.

These panels may be substituted for SHEETROCK gypsum liner panels in all SHEETROCK shaft wall and area separation wall systems. Comprehensive product and safety testing assures long-term performance and safety of these liner panels only when used in conjunction with SHEETROCK shaft wall and area separation wall framing components. All SHEETROCK shaft wall and area separation wall system components must be used together to ensure superior system performance and safety.

Features and Benefits

In independent lab tests conducted at the time of manufacture per ASTM D3273, "Standard Test Method for Resistance to Growth of Mold on the Surface of Interior Coatings in an Environmental Chamber," the panel score was 10. For more information, please see the submittal sheet.
