Diamond® Brand Veneer Basecoat provides quality walls and ceilings forresidential and light-commercial construction where the superior strength ofImperial® Brand Veneer Basecoat is not required. Its superior workabilityprovides ease and speed of application, and it is formulated to accept avariety of finishes.

Diamond Veneer Basecoat produces a monolithic base with regulated suction,resulting in an exceptional integral bond. It can be applied to Imperial® BrandGypsum Base; to porous concrete block; or to USG™ Plaster Bonder on thefollowing surfaces: monolithic concrete, Fiberock® Brand Abuse-Resistant GypsumFiber Panels, or Durock® Brand Cement Board.



Diamond® Brand Veneer Basecoat provides quality walls and ceilings forresidential and light-commercial construction where the superior strength ofImperial® Brand Basecoat is not essential. It mixes easily and disperses into acreamy, smooth, lump-free mix. It?s quick and easy to apply and boasts auniform set time of 50-60 minutes. DIAMOND Veneer Basecoat provides anexceptional surface for the application of finish coats.
