Representing a new frontier in sustainable design, this stool was developed in collaboration with the Danish Technological Institute and the University of Copenhagen. The seat is made in part with coffee bean shells from BKI coffee, a Danish roastery since 1960. The waste materials are mixed in a unique compound suitable for press moulding - a method designed to reuse companies' resources more efficiently.
