High-quality and versatile fiber suitable for a variety of applications, including production of ceiling tiles and asphalt. Produced at high temperatures incorporating slag, granite and other materials that combine to impart a high tensile strength product that will not burn.

MAIN FEATURES
USG Mineral Wool may be used in the production of ceiling tile, insulation, asphalt, cementitious reinforcement, friction product, fire protection system, adhesive, filler and other applications. It is a superior product for asphalt applications and an excellent alternative to cellulose fibers in Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA) applications. USG Mineral Wool:
Features a high fiber tensile strength
Will not burn, rot or absorb moisture or odors
Contains a minimum 88% recycled content
May assist in obtaining LEED credits
