Designed by BassamFellows for Geiger

Comfort and elegance with fine upholstery details

Tuxedo Classic
Tuxedo Classic designed by BassamFellows is about comfort and elegance. This new group for the Tuxedo Component Lounge, also by BassamFellows, extends the line's range, adding a more traditional appearance. Its new and larger upholstered base sits closer to the floor, supported on round, solid wood legs. The overall effect is a more anchored, restrained aesthetic. Marrying the flexibility and functionality of sectional seating with the elegance of a highly tailored sofa, the group is built on a series of simple base elements from which a full array of configurations are possible. The group includes a lounge chair, settee, and sofa, as well as corner units for all sizes.

Comfort is the main priority with Tuxedo Classic, and it allows the sitter to perch upright and take part in a meeting or to sit in a relaxed posture and still use a laptop or mobile device. The sitter can also press into the seat back, which flexes for a more casual lounging posture. Ergonomically shaped, dual-density foam cushions add firm support. Expert craftsmanship is evident in the fine upholstery details. Arm panels are gently rounded and top stitched. The seat and back cushions can be quilted, providing handcrafted detail and a softly tailored surface.
