Appealing contrasts between solid wood and fine upholstery give Alia stools their unique appeal. A hardwood frame serves as the foundation. A natural wood panel extends partially up the stool's back until it meets the upholstery and the juxtaposition of material creates a pleasing contrast. The rounded forms of the plush, upholstered seat and back harmonize with the crisp edges of the stool's frame and legs.
The stool is available with an upholstered seat cushion. The frame is constructed of maple veneer and solids, with double-dowel construction and corner blocked legs and rails. Legs have nylon glides. The seat is 2" thick multi-density polyurethane foam wrapped in Dacron®. Catalyzed lacquer finish in all Cumberland Maple finishes.
