Lounge seating with presence is a good thing; lounge seating that makes a great impression without occupying a massive footprint is even better. Substantial without being heavy or huge, Nienkämper’s new Mood Collection strikes the perfect balance between strength and lightness. The collection includes two-seat and three-seat sofas and a lounge chair. All have FSC-certified hardwood plywood frames, foam with soy content, and steel springs. Tubular steel bases—available in a brushed nickel or powder-coated finish—form continuous columns with cylindrical wood feet in a way that makes the entire form appear to float.
