Armortex® supplies ballistic-resistant fiberglass panels for high-performance bulletproof applications. Our fiberglass composite panels are woven in-house, from a roving ballistic-grade fiberglass. This allows us to maximize the ballistic performances of our fiberglass panels, through proper de-lamination and reliable projectile retention. The cloth is treated with a thermoset resin via mechanical injection and placed in a hydraulic hot press, where it is formed into flat, rigid sheets.
These high hardness fiberglass composite panels are available in widths of 3‘ and 4’, and lengths of 8‘, 9‘, or 10‘. Armortex® fiberglass panels are UL compliant and have been approved by the U.S. Marshal Service, the General Services Administration.
