Solite is a low-iron rolled glass that features a stippled pattern on one surface—providing the desired obscurity level, while retaining high transmission values.
Solite combines high active solar performance with a distinctive, nearly colorless appearance that complements many architectural designs. Like all solar product solutions from AFG Glass, Solite is designed for durable, maintenance-free performance—as well as outstanding cost effectiveness. It is available in thicknesses of 1/8", 5/32", and 3/16".

Solatex® is a unique product solution from industry leader AFG Glass that features a lightly textured finish ideal for diffusing light. Solatex is recommended for those solar applications where ultimate levels of transmission are required.
Manufactured with smooth rolls, Solatex allows slightly higher transmission levels at acute angles of incidence—and its textured surface also creates excellent adhesion for solar panels. Applications for Solatex include flat plate solar collectors, photovoltaics, and commercial greenhouses. Available thicknesses for Solatex are 1/8", 5/32", and 3/16".

As its name suggests, Krystal Klear® solar glass from AFG features a lovely, virtually colorless appearance that offers exciting possibilities for architects, designers, builders, and manufacturers.
A low-iron float glass, Krystal Klear combines an attractive appearance with high visible light transmittance, high solar transmittance, and a high shading coefficient. In testing, it has exceeded the light and solar energy performance of competitive solar glasses, as well as acrylic and polycarbonate products.
Available in 1/8", 5/32", 1/4", and 3/8" thicknesses, Krystal Klear from AFG is a durable, versatile, and fully temperable solution. While it is ideal for passive solar applications, its crystal clarity also makes it an excellent choice for such specialty applications as furniture, appliances, framing, shelving, and display cases. In commercial buildings, Krystal Klear is also well-suited for spandrel and storefront installations.
An innovative coated solution, PV-TCO Solar™ from AFG Glass is designed to maximize the efficiency of amorphous silicon cells. This transparent conductive oxide product complements AFG’s established solar solutions, and meets the special needs of customers utilizing amorphous silicon technologies.
This practical, durable solution from AFG maximizes the performance of amorphous silicon cells by delivering excellent transmission, superior conductivity, and the high haze levels needed to trap light in the amorphous silicon layer—and increase overall photovoltaic output. To meet customized output needs, PV-TCO Solar is easy to etch by laser ablation and wet chemical processes.
AFG’s versatile PV-TCO Solar is available in a 1/8" thickness, can be tempered or bent, and is offered in sizes up to 130" x 204". It features an electrical conductivity of 9 to 15 ohms/square, with haze ranging from 11% to 15%. Visible transmission exceeds 77% when direct-measured—and is greater than 83% when haze-compensated.
