FIRECODE Brand Acrylic Firestop Sealants

High-performance, economical, easy-to-apply material for through penetrations and head-of-wall firestopping applications

FIRECODE® Brand Acrylic Firestop Sealants are specially formulated acrylic for firestop applications. FIRECODE® Brand Acrylic Firestop Sealant (Type A) is formulated for applications including metallic pipe, insulated pipe, conduit, copper tubing and pipe; and construction head-of-wall joints. FIRECODE® Brand Acrylic Firestop Spray Sealant (Type SA) is a specially formulated acrylic for head-of-wall firestopping spray applications. The acrylic, elastomeric material remains flexible after drying so that it can accommodate movement. Fast spray application saves time and money. Applied FIRECODE Brand Acrylic Firestop Sealants are available in a rust red color that is easily seen and identified by fire marshals. It can be painted once fully cured. FIRECODE Brand Acrylic Firestop Sealants have met all of the conditions of ASTM E1966, UL 2079, ASTM E814, ASTM E84 and CAN4-S115 in tests conducted at Underwriters Laboratories (UL). Numerous UL-Classified through-penetration and head-of-wall systems are available.

FIRECODE® Brand Acrylic Firestop Sealants (Type A and Type SA) remain flexible when dry, making them resistant to damage from impact and preventing them from cracking. They are easy to apply: Type SA with spray equipment, trowel or brush, Type A using standard caulking equipment. Economical to use, the sealants? fast application saves time and money and helps meet construction deadlines. When applied, FIRECODE Brand Acrylic Firestop Spray Sealants are a rust red color easily seen and identified by fire marshals. It can be painted once fully cured.
