USG Joint Compounds offer numerous specialized product types to meet specific finishing requirements such as taping a joint, applying a finish coat, or patching a crack. Available in taping, topping, and all-purpose formulas, the SHEETROCK® Brand and BEADEX® Brand Joint Compound line includes both drying-type ready-mixed and setting-type powder products in conventional weight and lightweight versions.

USG Joint Tapes add strength and crack resistance for smooth concealment in reinforcing joints and corners in gypsum drywall and veneer plaster finish interiors. Available in both paper tape and glass-fiber tape to meet specific application needs.

USG Bead and Trim products encompass a wide variety of corner profiles, available in paper-faced metal or conventional all-metal bead and trim styles-all of the options necessary to complete SHEETROCK® Brand Gypsum Panel installation.

USG Textures offer a variety of decorating options to create beautiful, interior walls and ceilings. These easy-to-apply textures conceal minor surface defects in walls and ceilings, while adding drama to any interior decor.

USG Primers provide a base that equalizes the absorption rate and surface texture variations between the drywall face paper and the finished joint compound when painted. The product line includes a variety of formulations to meet interior wall and ceiling priming needs before painting or texturing.

BEADEX® Brand Multi-Purpose Joint Compound, Ready-Mixed features excellent ease of application, good crack-resistance, and excellent adhesion. Bonds tight even under humid job conditions. More working time facilitates working back, even under fast drying conditions, by providing more wet-edge life to prevent rolling and tearing of previously laid compound. Factory-controlled shrinkage and minimized cratering results in finer finished work without the extra labor. BEADEX Brand Multi-Purpose Joint Compound can be used in gypsum panel construction for taping, topping, concealing bead and trim, skim coating, and simple hand-applied texturing for single-package convenience.
