Lightcolumns represent a dramatic new approach to low and mid-level lighting. A versatile collection of finely crafted performance luminaires, Lightcolumns are a striking integration of art, architecture and illumination, offering, possibly for the first time, the inspiring opportunity to design with luminaires, instead of around them. The Lightcolumns series is comprised of two companion groups - sleek, low profile four inch forms and landmark, six inch diameter columns. From 30" to 12', through combination of profile, lens, louver, lamp, glow rings, finish and height, Lightcolumns are the art of illumination.
Lightcolumns 6 provide a beautiful solution for illuminating large public areas and grand entrances with soft forms that attract as well as guide pedestrians. From three to twelve feet, these are strong design elements achieving remarkable lighting solutions from integrated, high performance HID optical systems.
With HID lamps completely concealed at normal viewing angles, glare control of downlight LD600 luminaires is exceptional. 180° and 360° distributions are available. In addition, the LD630 and LD650 downlights utilize prismatic refractors which significantly increase light levels and luminaire spacings. Optional, edge lighted glow rings are internally illuminated by the primary source. Alternatively, the distinctive ring detail can be painted to match the luminaire.
