Years ago I came across an image of a 50 foot ocean-going Haida canoe gliding across the water. It was magnificently carved from a single cedar log and brightly painted in traditional colors. On the Eagle, the eye follows the gunnel along the length and seems to provide lift and momentum. The Eagle attempts to capture the essence of this vessel.
Shown in Douglas fir with clear finish.
