AutoStrada AS-3 Applied Wall System

AutoStrada Applied Wall adds systems flexibility and performance in private offices, conference rooms and collaborative spaces. Applied wall enables various functional and decorative surfaces, offers continuous support for shelves, overhead storage and worksurfaces, and integrates power distribution and wire management. The unique structure of the Applied Wall facilitates change--storage can easily be repositioned and covers can be rearranged without removing components'while transmitting most of the weight load directly to the floor.
Wall surfaces
Applied Wall covers are available in 7 1/2', 15', 22 1/2'and 30' heights for all standard AutoStrada veneer, laminate, paint, fabric and tackable fabric surfaces. Applied Wall also offers 15' and 22 1/2' tackable linoleum or backpainted glass surfaces, and 7 1/2' slatwall and recessed cable management covers. In addition marker surface covers are available in heights from 7 1/2' up to 45'. All covers range from 24' to 96' wide in 6' increments, except tackable fabric, glass and marker surface which range from 24' to 72' wide.
All horizontal channels, slatwall, recessed and trim covers are available in clear anodized aluminum or any AutoStrada 'core' paint finish except silver. The top channel and 2' wide end covers capture the Applied Wall channels and covers with a refined appearance.
Storage and Accessories
Applied Wall storage includes laminate, veneer, and powder glass shelves with aluminum shelf supports, laminate or veneer open and enclosed overhead cabinets with hinged or sliding doors. Applied Wall accessories include cable tray, marker tray, easel pad holder, picture and coat hooks.
Adapters are available to support Reuter Overhead storage units at any point on Applied Wall channels positioned 15' apart.
Worksurface brackets support the back edge or end of a worksurface with legs or pedestal support for the front or other end.
Power distribution
Applied Wall is designed to provide a recessed cover area for mounting communications outlets and standard Wiremold surface-mounted plugmold. Three wiring schemes are available: single circuit, two circuit/four wire, two circuit/six wire (with independent neutrals and grounds). Hardwire power supply is concealed behind wall surfaces.
Alternatively the Applied Wall covers can start 24' above the floor for direct access to standard wall outlets.
Applied Wall Structure
The system structure includes steel wall mount frames at two horizons, 69' and 84'H, and two add on frame heights, 22 1/2' and 30'H, which can extend Applied Walls to 91 1/2', 99', 106 1/2', 114' horizons. Frames and add on frames must be secured to a built wall. Surfaces can extend beyond the wall frames up to 6' each side so 3' and 4' W frames support Applied Walls of any length 3' or greater. Levelers enable adjacent frames to be aligned with up to 12' between.
Extruded aluminum horizontal channels in widths up to 12"top, intermediate and bottom channels--can attach to frames every 7 1/2' vertically from 1 1/2' above the floor. The positioning and spacing of intermediate channels is determined by the location of wall surface covers. The face of each channel has a unique profile that supports Applied Wall storage, worksurface and accessory brackets at any position laterally. The top and bottom of intermediate channels hold wall covers of any surface type in position, side by side.
