SwiftStart® SA Rolled Starter offers industry leading adhesion and can be used with all designer, laminate or strip shingles. It protects the roof edge and features a sealing strip to prevent wind uplift at the crucial eave and rake areas.
The self-adhesive application allows for quick and easy installation while providing waterproof protection and self-sealing around nails and other penetrations. It fills in the spaces perfectly under the cut-outs for the first course of exposed shingles which prevents wind uplift.
SwiftStart SA Rolled Starter can be applied directly to the roof deck or over compatible self-adhering underlayments.
Overall, this 9", self-adhering mineral surfaced starter shingle saves time and labor, with no need to cut shingle tabs, and provides enhanced nail sealability.
