Overview
CertainTeed's most robust fire resistant, polyester-reinforced, SBS-modified bitumen cap sheet with solar reflective surfacing, Flintlastic®® Premium FR-P, is valued for its physical properties, fire performance, high elasticity and decades of consistent quality. This 165 mil membrane is manufactured with more asphalt and a heavier polyester reinforcement when compared to its "younger brother", Flintlastic® FR-P, to qualify for and support ASTM "type II" SBS/mop-applied specifications. Premium FR-P offers superior durability and resistance to weathering. Premium FR-P is mop applied with hot asphalt or cold adhesive such as FlintBond® Brush.
