Chicago Metallic 1496.00 Seismic Perimeter Clip is used in category C, D, E, and F seismic zones as an alternate method of stabilizing the perimeters of suspended ceiling components. Its robust construction allows contractors to use a standard 15/16” wall angle in lieu of the less desirable 2” angle while eliminating costly stabilizer bars and perimeter hanger wires. This accessory can be used with all Chicago Metallic grid suspension systems.
