Dry firing a gun is a necessary safety measure to check its status and ensure all rounds have been removed. Action Target has designed a selection of double-walled clearing traps, making this a safe and simple process. We have a trap available for every situation, from shooting ranges to locker rooms, armories, gunsmiths, and correctional facilities. The traps’ armored steel chamber filled with its composite rubber will safely contain any unexpected shots fired with complete confidence. Traps are built to handle handguns to rifles (up to .223 and .308).
