Since the founding of the company in 1967, Wolf Gordon has established a reputation as a reliable purveyor of stylish, high quality wallcoverings. Based in New York, Wolf Gordon offers an established heritage of American design and dependable performance. The company portfolio includes vinyl, non-woven, and TPO materials, in addition to luxury materials such as silk, suede, grass cloths, and wood.

Description

Wolf Gordon has always kept pace with the pulse of technology and changing cultural values. To that end, the company is constantly expanding their line of surface coverings and drapery—“developing a wider range of interior surfacing materials with an ever-growing line of upholstery and drapery textiles, high-performing paints, and Wink, a clear dry-erase coating.”

  • Wallcoverings: Wolf Gordon is an industry leader in sourcing and manufacturing innovative wallcoverings. The company not only offers common materials such as vinyl and non-wovens, but also sustainable coverings using Thermoplastic Olefin technology (“TPO,” which is free of chlorine and phthalates), in addition to premium decorative wallcoverings of silk, suede, and grass cloth. All told, Wolf Gordon offers upwards of 5,000 different styles and colorways, in a huge variety of textures and an even greater number of patterns.
  • Upholstery: Wolf Gordon has recently branched out into the market for contract textiles, offering a line of high performing upholstery for custom applications, “expertly woven from both natural and technically advanced materials, merging function with innovation.” Among the company’s approximately 1,000 different upholstery patterns and styles, standouts include “Grand Army Plaza,” a solution dyed yarn upholstery in 12 colorways, each modeled after the aesthetic of the famed Brooklyn landmark; and “Waldorf,” a polyester blend in five intriguing colors evoking the aesthetic of Manhattan’s luxury Waldorf Astoria Hotel.
  • Wink: Wink is a revolutionary clear surface coating that transforms any paintable surface into an over-sized dry erase board. Wink’s easy application gives users the ability to turn either new or existing surfaces into a place to write, draw, and erase: “just grab any dry erase marker and start sharing ideas, organizing and creating, everywhere, without the limits of a whiteboard.” Wink is water-based, low VOC, virtually odorless—“easy on the environment.” One kit covers 90 sq. ft. and Wolf Gordon guarantees the product’s performance with a 10 year warranty.

Wolf Gordon is dedicated to manufacturing in a sustainable manner that conserves resources and minimizes or eliminates pollutants. The company’s reclamation program re-sources used products for a variety of uses—sending them to Nigeria, for example, where they can be re-used to make backpacks, shoe linings, and other products. Additionally, Wolf Gordon participates in the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System, a protocol that encourages employees, partners, and clients to “help protect natural resources and create a cleaner, more efficient world.”
