Surfacing Solution has been a high-quality manufacturer of decorative wall and ceiling material for architects and designers for over 30 years.
We first started with Tambour. Tambour is used for wooden wallcovering, wood wainscot, column and pole wraps, bar fronts, roll-top/roll-up desks and even ceilings. This flexible wood wall paneling allows convex and concave radius to be covered with a warm and elegant appearance. Whether you are looking for solid wood, veneered wood, metallic, or vinyl, we have many options. By hand selecting each individual slat to ensure quality has made us the leader in the industry. No matter if you are looking for red or white oak, maple, cherry, poplar, walnut, or more - we can do it. Custom sizes can be done as well.
The other product line that contributed to the initial growth and success of Surfacing Solution is the Three-D Ceiling panels. Made from a thermoformed styrene, these panels created a beautiful coffered look to you ceiling by either dropping them into a grid system or gluing to your sheet-rock ceiling.
A merging of these ideas brought birth to our faux tin ceiling line – allusions. With 2’x4’ for glue up installation, 2’x2’s for lay in grid installation, and the ability to create custom patterns and colors – we can surly help your next project stands out! In addition, our faux tin is much better for acoustics and has an NRC rating! Not only are they decorative, they can potentially help with your sound problems!
We took the same thought process as the Three-D panels, and the design idea of the metal panel to stand out as a true pioneer in the industry! The panel designed to replicate the old-world tin panels was born. Since we already had the metal panels it was a natural transition to offer the tin look in both metal and a thermoformed alternative. The Allusions panel expanded our product line to not only to ceiling applications but also walls, backsplashes, and wainscoting. These glue up faux tin ceiling tiles are easy to install and extremely durable. In addition, we have 2’x2’ lay in acoustical ceiling tiles for drop / grid ceiling systems. We’re constantly growing and adding new colors and patterns.
Our 2’x2’ Class A Fire rated PVC panels are ready to install in a T-grid drop suspended ceiling system right out of the box. They’re lightweight and easy to work with. They cut simply with shears or scissors and are much less messy compared to traditional mineral fiber ceiling tiles!
