ABCO Furniture, a division of izzy+, produces affordable seating and furniture for today’s workstyles. From casegoods and desks to task chairs and stackable seating, from corporate headquarters and home offices to schools and colleges, ABCO furniture combines contemporary style and people-centered design.

Description

As part of the izzy+ corporate family, ABCO is based in Spring Lake, Michigan. For residential and contract clients who need help with space-planning and design, “ABCO can help you learn the ABC's of furniture.” The company’s wide array of color, finish, and fabric choices, along with different shapes and sizes of desks, tables, chairs, and office panels makes customization easy.

  • Delphin— Twice as cool as the standard task chair, Delphin is “hip to look at and not a heat trap to sit in, thanks to the breathable mesh back.” Synchronous back and seat movement make Delphin comfortable, along with two seat sizes and fully adjustable arms—“just right for sitters of all sizes.” The creation of izzy+ founder and president Chuck Saylor, Delphin features three mechanism choices: syncro-tilt, swivel-tilt, and multi-function.
  • Gil— Designed by FM Design, Gil is a fluid, stackable chair available arm and armless in standard or stool heights on a sled base. Its thermoplastic material makes Gil lightweight and comfortable, and its European design gives it a sculpted look. The chair’s sled base moves easily on any surface, and its continuous steel-rod construction provides ample legroom, since there are no cross braces. Options include sled or oversized tablets and ganging. Gil stacks six on the floor and 6 x 2 on a double dolly, making it ideal seating for lecture halls and meeting rooms. Besides its curves and lightness, Gil is striking for its palette: the chair is available in 15 colors, including Peacock, Parakeet, Goldfinch, Macaw Blue, Oriole, Cardinal, Purple Martin, and Flamingo, as well as standards like Swan, Raven, and Dove.
  • Keel— Based on the idea in shipbuilding where the keel serves as a spine or foundation around which the vessel is built, KEEL casegoods offers a basic keel that gets customized for client and space needs. Designed by Paul James, KEEL starts with the keel, a panel and base cabinet available in five widths, “which is the building block of all groups.” Add to that various worksurfaces, storage units, and accessories for open plan or private offices. KEEL is “tailored to the needs of different users and a range of workstyles.” Integrated wire management and easy connectability make KEEL a balanced choice for the contemporary office. The system also comes with optional modesty panels in eight widths and vertical storage components with open shelves, hinged or sliding doors, and shared storage with access from two opposing sides. For added flexibility, KEEL offers freestanding and wall-mounted units.

ABCO offers different styles and functions with its various brand names, including Endure, Unity, Next Generation, and Smart Seating. With its izzy+ flavors, a current and evolving catalog of fresh colors and materials, ABCO offers something for everyone—urban or suburban, big or small, refined or daring.
