A LITTLE HISTORY IN MODERN DESIGN
From the end of the 17th century mirrors and their frames became an increasingly important part of decorating the home. Frames were largely used to reflect the general taste of the time. Ivory, silver, olive wood, tortoise shell all made their marks throughout time but were replaced whenever the trends changed as frames were much cheaper to produce than the mirrors themselves. By the 19th century the french started producing circular mirrors usually framed by extensively complex Neoclassical gilded wood carvings.

The undeniable presence these earlier mirrors created has been somewhat lost over the years. Modern day mirrors are often thought of as something to simply provide a reflection and the object itself has become less important. A mirror's commanding presence was the result of the sweat, blood and hours of skilled craftsmen who created master works impossible to reproduce today. The Diamond Mirror hopes to regain some of the power from its glory days using newer techniques and less blood. (Same amount of sweat.)

YOU'LL LOOK BETTER THAN EVER, GUARANTEED
Most glass and mirror produced today are filled with mineral impurities, namely iron, which cause a deep green tint. While most noticeable on it's it's also visible on the entire face of the glass causing the reflection of your skin, your hair, your walls and everything around you to have a slightly muddy dark green tint.

The Diamond Mirror is made from laboratory quality glass of the highest optical clarity and backed with an impossibly thin layer of pure silver. Unobscured by mineral impurities within the glass the Diamond Mirror provides more light transmission which in turn results in a reflection that is actually brighter, clearer and more vivid. Often referred to as optically white, the Diamond Mirror quite literally reflects your true colors.

THE CUT IN CUTTING EDGE
Simplicity is never what it seems. It's often cloaked by complex and demanding side effects. The 16 facets are cut and polished by hand requiring the absolute precision of a master glass beveler. To achieve the subtleties of the glass, some bevels have to be cut with a difference of less than half a degree. Imaging splitting an atom, it's something like that.

PHYSICAL ATTRACTION
To truly present itself the Diamond Mirror had to rethink it's mounting system. Modern high tech magnetics offered the perfect solution.

The Diamond Mirror is mounted by attaching a supplied steel plate to your wall. Then with its magnetic backing the mirror simply and gracefully clings to your wall. The mirror is held perfectly flat and remarkably secure and flush to the wall. In doing so, it resists all causal or accidental bumps along the way but can still be removed with a little tug in the right places. The magnetics are made to last many lifetimes and are engineered to provide just the right amount of attraction. They system allows the mirror to be leveled, and adjusted up to 5 inches in any direction to fine tune its placement. Mounting is minimally invasive and it works on any wall, anywhere. You'll never worry about studs again.
