With Tyde, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have developed a new generation of height-adjustable tables into which the technology required for adjusting has been sophisticatedly integrated. Tyde is therefore subtle in design and can be incorporated into a wide variety of office environments and used in combination with different tables. While stand-up/sit-down tables are generally only available as single workstations, Tyde extends this concept to offer the benefits of working while standing and sitting to double workstations and conference tables. After all, alternating between sitting and standing is healthy. Indeed, specialist for ergonomics in the workplace recommend that you spend around 40% of your time at work standing and 60% sitting. This alternation prevents the health problems that can develop through monotonous strain on the body. It also promotes blood circulation, which in turn improves concentration and performance.
Innovative polyester fleece
In the dynamic hustle and bustle of the open-plan office, acoustics are particularly important. Tyde is therefore equipped with sound-proof screens and with technology covers under the table top. These are made of a lightweight innovative polyester fleece. Moreover, the motor for electric height-adjustment is especially quiet.
A wide variety of possibilities for individualisation
Tyde caters to individual requirements: the tables are available in two sizes and can be equipped according to their particular area of use. For instance, the height adjustable function can be driven by an electric motor for the stand-up/sit-down tables, by a crank or by simple manual adjustment for various seat heights. Additional elements such as technical beams, different screens, PC holders and accessories, allow for further individualisation.
Black
The aesthetically pleasing table top made of high quality powder-coated MDF in basic dark, the fleece cable tray and the cable channel in dark grey, the embedded ѓ__Portѓ_ќ electricity hub in polished aluminium, and the black flaps lend ѓ__Blackѓ_ќ its technical elegance.
Height-adjustment
The stand-up/sit-down workstations are electrically heightadjustable between 65 cm and 125 cm. The tables with cranks can be adjusted between 65 cm and 85 cm. The tables with lockable columns are adjustable between 68 cm and 76 cm.
Port, technical beam and accessories
The Port cable channel, technical beam and accessories serve to equip the workstation and can be combined. Utensil trays, file boxes, adapters for monitors and table lamps are further components of Tyde.
Screens
All Tyde workstations can be equipped with sound-proof screens. Both the screen for a two-station cluster and the 3D screens consist of 100% recycled polyester fleece and are available in different colours.
