Story
Our one-of-a-kind Mangata Tables are dramatically styled to showcase the beauty of naturally formed petrified wood complemented by hand-crafted Shou Sugi Ban-finished Suar wood. Petrified wood maintains a softer aesthetic, featuring organic tones and graining—turned to stone after being buried under sediment and volcanic ash. Hand-finished Suar wood features a Shou Sugi Ban finish—wherein artisans burn solid Suar to create a rich, charred black tone. Each tabletop displays hairline cracks, tree rings, and other unique details that make it one of a kind. These tables are designed to be clustered or nested but can be separated for use as cocktail tables.
