The definition of a cloud is a visible mass of crystal droplets, although when we think of clouds we think of sumptuous softness. The same definition holds for Crystal Palace, the first sofa produced by the glass company Glas Italia and designed by the legendary Jean-Marie Maussaud.
Crystal Palace sofa is made of glass but there’s nothing fragile about it. Shaped, tempered, 19mm thick, extra light transparent glass forms the seamless frame of the sofa, which supports plush cushions. Created in sections, the sofa can consist of two lateral modules (a right and left one) and can be extended to include as many middle sections as desired. The removable cushions are available in white, black or blue cotton/linen fabric. Sometimes it’s wonderful to have your head in the clouds!
