PARKER TABLE

The Parker Coffee Table is constructed from 100% reclaimed timber from demolished NYC area buildings. The timber comes from the beams, joists and support columns that are rescued from buildings being renovated or deconstructed in the city. Due to the age of the buildings the wood is often first growth heart pine, from trees that were three or four hundred years old when they were cut. This wood came from the very dense forests that covered the north east when New York was settled. Since these trees were competing for sunlight, the growth rings are very close together, which produced a very dense, stable, beautifully grained wood. The Parker table utilizes traditional hand cut joinery and a hand rubbed finish suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Available in various reclaimed woods, call for current availability and lead times.
