PRODUCT DETAILS

Manufacturer's Product Description

Both ToughRock Moisture-Guard and Fireguard Moisture-Guard gypsum board have a noncombustible (as described and tested in accordance with ASTM E 136), dimensionally stable gypsum core. Fireguard Moisture-Guard Panels A specially formulated gypsum core that includes glass fibers enables ToughRock Fireguard Moisture-Guard gypsum board to remain intact during a fire, helping to protect framing members and preventing or delaying the spread of fire. With joints covered, ToughRock Fireguard Moisture-Guard gypsum board will resist passage of smoke. The core has been reinforced with the addition of inorganic glass fibers, increasing its strength.
