Strips, designed by Cini Boeri in 1979, was awarded a Compasso d'Oro, the first and most recognized Italian Industrial Design Award. Strips modular seating is available in three configurations and five sizes. The wooden structure is covered in stress-resistant differentiated density foam. Springing is acheived with reinforce elastic straps. The feet are chrome plated tubular metal. The quilted covers are fully removable.
