Bendheim has collaborated with Robert A.M. Stern Architects and OmniDécor of Italy to create four etched pattern glasses that draw their inspiration from the visual arts and architectural design. All are produced on ultra-clear low-iron float glass, utilizing technologically advanced methods with particular attention to the strictest environmental protection standards.
Etched on both sides of the glass, the designs lend a strong sense of dimensionality and movement, allowing them to dynamically interact with light and surrounding design elements. The permanent non-coated surface is naturally resistant to fingerprints and staining over the lifetime of the product.
It is a superior glass for demanding applications such as shower enclosures and building exteriors and is ideal for partition walls, doors, and decorative feature elements in hotels, healthcare facilities, restaurants and residences.
The Architect Series I glass collection is available in three standard thicknesses: 1/4” (6 mm), 3/8” (10 mm), and 1/2” (12 mm), in sheets up to 88.5 by 126 inches (225 cm x 320 cm). Additional thicknesses and colors, including bronze, amber, blue and green, are available by special order.
