Bulldog® Executive

by Knoll

Product Description

Designed by Dale Fahnstrom and Michael McCoy

Lending a consistent design element to the architecture of your office, Bulldog offers unparalleled selection, assertive design, sophisticated ergonomics and exceptional durability

Provides a wider scale to accommodate different body types and/or to distinguish hierarchical levels within the organization while keeping the same aesthetic throughout

Offered with an optional heavy-duty spring to support larger, heavier users

The Bulldog executive chair provides active ergonomic support for those who require the most adjustable ergonomic chair available

Supporting entire organizations in every sense of the word, Bulldog is the end-all, be-all of ergonomic design — suitable to all seating applications and every body type

As confirmed by pressure mapping data, Bulldog keeps the user comfortable and supported in all work postures, distributing weight evenly over the entire area for optimum circulation and comfort

A state-of-the-art synchronized tilt mechanism — the most sophisticated available — is at the heart of every Bulldog chair. In recline, the body opens up naturally to enhance circulation, the feet remain firmly on the ground, and the sight line is held at a constant level to reduce eye strain

Intuitive controls in the form of sculpted levers allow quick and easy adjustment, granting new users the ability to instantly customize the chair

Any chair can be specified with a variety of adjustments to meet corporate and personal needs

Height adjustment offers generous range of lumbar support and can be raised or lowered from a seated position. 4" lumbar support adjusts the entire back while seated. No twisting, turning and searching required

High-performance adjustable arms allow your arms to fall into a natural position, relieving upper neck and shoulder strain, keeping them close to the work surface and supporting forearms for ease of keystroking. The adjustability factor also adapts a single chair to the preferences of a range of users

Sliding seat depth adjustment range is 2.25" to support a variety of body sizes and tasks

Bulldog’s 8° forward tilt is the most pronounced in the market, allowing you to fully recline and float to forward tilt. By giving sublime back support when sitting in a perched position over computer-intensive work, forward tilt relieves pressure from the upper and lower back, and the back of thighs

Soft edges add to comfort and protect walls and other furnishings

Flat base doubles as footrest

The reupholstery process is so simple, it can easily be done on site

Unique for an executive chair, the Bulldog executive model can be specified with as many ergonomic features as the operational task chair

Virtually indestructible, Bulldog meets or exceeds ANSI/BIFMA x5.1-1993 and ANSI-HFES Standard 100-10088 durability tests
