Design: Gerrit T. Rietveld
Included in the Design Collection of the Museum of Modern Art.
Designed in 1922-23. An occasional table in beech wood, lacquered and stained in a red, white, black, yellow and blue combination.
It is an elegant example of Rietveld's interest in architectural formulas to produce rational design. These ideals were expressed in his design of the Schroeder House in 1924.
