Design: Gerrit T. Rietveld

Designed in 1918, this was one of the first three dimensional expressions of the De Stijl movement, with primary colors influenced by fellow group member Piet Mondrian. The straight lines and exposed joints of this model have a black stained beech wood frame, lacquered blue seat and red back.
