A public area chair that forms the foundation for architecturally specified seating in any setting. Inherent in the intelligent design: silent, counterbalanced full folding seat (No springs required!) that raises to vertical allowing unobstructed aisle passage of others; all components can be replaced with no disruption of adjacent positions; seat upholstery zips off for field replacement; traditional upholstery system allows virtually any fabric to be applied, giving unlimited textile choices; aluminum standards and wood structures for ease of recycling; pre-channeled standards for cabling data and power.

Design criteria that can be architecturally specified: Widths from18” to 24” in 1” increments for perfect row ends and maximum seating capacity. Backrest shapes include rounded and rectilinear as standards, and any custom curve shape can be specified. Backrest heights and/or headrest at any height or shape. Backrest can be specified at multiple angles: reclined for viewing or upright for working spaces. Backrest shell options including upholstered, laminate, veneer or other custom surfacing materials. Underseat treatments including upholstered, laminate, veneer or any other custom surfacing materials. Perforated underseat treatment for noise attenuation in unoccupied seats. Accent strips on leading edge of standard. Any anodized or epoxy powder finish on standards and exposed steel/aluminum components. Any size or shape panels for row ends.
