Manufacturer's Product Description

American Archive
In use in the offices of the Smithsonian Institution Building is the personal desk of renowned architect Daniel H. Burnham (1846-1912). The Architect?s Sideboard is inspired by and shares several Classical details that embellish the Burnham desk. Round fluted and carved columns and turned bun feet add architectural purity and interest. A silverware insert, displaying the Smithsonian Collection by Bernhardt emblem, in the center drawer adds functionality. The sideboard is shown in pin knotty cherry veneers with a Castle Brick finish.
