Derived from an early 20th century block printed linen, this charming floral vine is in a versatile allover medium scale, printed on a linen and cotton ground. The rendering of the colorful flowers and leaves in this print are reminiscent of crewel embroidery. Colorations are crisp, from an interpretation of the original document color in shades of berry and turquoise, to summery blues on white.
