The Open Villa takes its cue from Donghia's classic Villa Collection but gives it a contemporary twist - the tightly upholstered seating pieces are placed on an open, plinth-like wooden base. This base gives the pieces added visual interest, a sculptural yet lightweight look, and in a very modern take on living, added storage space for reading materials, etc. Another innovation is that the club chair's base also contains a swivel, giving the piece great versatility for the functional interior. The base can be specified in any standard Donghia finish on maple.
