Plissé

Promising chemistry has been born between Luceplan, the historic brand

of Italian lighting, and Inga Sempé, a young French designer, who represents

the best of creativity from over the Alps. The first result of this union is

Plissé, a suspension lamp, whose width can be adjusted thanks to the

double pantograph system. Designed to light tables or work surfaces, Plissé

allows you to increase and decrease its extension effortlessly, with just one

simple, almost instinctive gesture.The system is based on a sophisticated steel structure, which disappears, elegantly covered by pleated material. The lampshade adapts to the changes

in volume with a remarkable, gentle movement, eliminating the technical

feature, which characterises the heart of the project. Plissé’s changing sizes

will amaze you: going from 60 to 160 centimetres, distributing the resulting

light evenly.
