The final piece of Luceplan’s research on energy saving is Sky, the new
outdoor lighting system designed by Alfredo Häberli. The head of the lamp,
which represents the heart of the project, contains highly efficient, latest
generation photovoltaic cells. The technology enables to capture sunlight
during the day and give off an intense, long-lasting light from the early
hours of the evening.
