The USG Drywall Suspension System provides the tools to create uniquecurved, domed, and conventional flat drywall ceilings with simplicity.
The USG Drywall Suspension System is a pre-engineered system that allows youto create unique curved, domed, and conventional flat drywall ceilings withsimplicity. The system assembles quickly and easily for fast installation,reducing labor costs. System accessories and integrated straight and curvedcomponents offer easy transitions to vertical, horizontal, or curved surfaces.This unique, pre-engineered system can reduce installed costs up to 40% versusconventional cold-rolled channel or steel stud drywall ceilinginstallations.
Drywall barrel vaults, archways, valleys, waves, serpentines, and domes allhave the flexibility to easily transition to flat ceilings, soffits, andacoustical ceiling suspension systems. All main tees (straight and curved) canbe field cut to specific lengths. The system is fully compatible with all USGDONN® Brand acoustical suspension systems. More than 30 UL fire-rated designsare available for flat ceilings. The system accepts type "F" lightfixtures and type "G" lay-in fixtures. It is the easiest system in theindustry to use for installing type "F" light fixtures and forfinishing the board joints surrounding these fixtures.
