FROST™ Ceiling Panels, and FROST panels with FIRECODE™ formulation arefine-textured acoustical panels that feature excellent sound control. AvailableFIRECODE formulation panels are designed for added fire protection.
The panels are manufactured with a cast process that enhances the surfaceappearance and provides excellent sound absorption and durability. FROST panelshave nearly two times more impact resistance than typical fine textured ceilingpanels as tested by ASTM C357-2" ball hardness test. The panels featurehigh noise reduction coefficients (NRC) and a backing that acts as a soundbarrier and resists "breathing" (air passing through the surface), sothe surface stays cleaner longer. With their exceptional CAC values, FROSTpanels also provide one of the best combinations of NRC and CAC values.
The cast process also integrates color all the way through the panel, whichmasks nicks and scratches. This long-lasting, abuse resistant surface resistsscrapes and is easy to maintain because the surface cleans easily with a brushor vacuum.
A variety of colors and sizes make the FROST line of panels perfect forconference and lobby areas, entertainment and gaming, executive offices, openoffice plans, hotels and restaurants, retail stores, boutiques, educationenvironments and transportation terminals. Frost ceiling panels are classified as formaldehyde-free according tostandards established by CHPS, the State of Washington, ASHRAE and ANSI.
