Diffrient “Highlights”
• Fluorescent Technology: The new Diffrient Light utilizes compact fluorescent technology to provide an ideal light source while saving energy and minimizing risk of burns.
• Counterbalance: It was designed with a near-perfect counterbalance for easy repositioning, so users can move it closer to tasks that require more light and further away from tasks that require less light.
• The Shade: The light’s asymmetric parabolic shade directs light forward from the lamp head in such a way as to minimize glare and optimize illumination. The Task shade can be rotated up or down and pivoted left or right to further redirect the light output as desired.
The Diffrient Light & the Environment
In keeping with Humanscale’s environmental stewardship, the Diffrient Light is made of up to 90% recycled and recyclable materials, the vast majority of which is aluminum – a material that can be recycled over and over again and which has a high scrap value to ensure that it will, in fact, be recycled at the end of the light’s useful life. And the compactfluorescent bulb uses one-third the energy of incandescent bulbs and lasts four times as long.
