Manufacturer's Product Description

Beautiful recycling options, available in both wood veneer and laminate.
Based on our first product, the Victor metal waste basket, Victor2 encourages recycling with upscale and streamlined aesthetics. Multiple surface options allow you to blend across Steelcase product lines and create a culture of recycling in cafes, conference rooms and collaborative spaces. Victor2 is available as mobile or freestanding unit and contributes to LEED certification.
Designed by Steelcase Design Studio in collaboration with HOK Product Design.
On Earth Day, Victor2 was introduced in New York City. To view the video of the event, featuring Tom Polucci and John Cantrell of HOK Product Design, click here.
Victor
Steelcase's history of innovation and sustainability began 100 years ago with Victor, a metal wastebasket designed to reduce fires caused by ashes in wicker wastebaskets.
More about Steelcase
A household name among contract manufacturers, Steelcase boasts 100 years of conceptualizing, designing, and manufacturing creative solutions for office environments. Founded in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1912 as “The Metal Office Furniture Company,” Steelcase’s original signature innovation was the steel trashcan: “a major innovation at a time when straw wastebaskets were a serious office fire hazard.” The infamous steel desk followed soon after. Today, the company’s extensive product portfolio encompasses the principle components of any workspace—interior architecture, furniture, and technology.
