The barstool is part of the SPINE collection designed by SPACE Copenhagen. The design has taken the duo back to the time and approach of Børge Mogensen while still looking ahead. The concepts behind the pieces in the collection explore the contrast between renowned Nordic design tradition and SPACE Copenhagen thoroughly emotional practice. A combination between the simple, organic forms and left-field details is key to its development. The SPINE collection is named after the recognizable Y-construction in the base, adding an extra subjective layer to the aesthetics through the whole collection.
