The J16 is exceptional among the many rocking chairs designed by Hans J. Wegner throughout the years. The chair was launched by FDB Furniture in 1944 and has been in continuous production ever since. Hans J. Wegner emphasised freedom of movement and ergonomics in his chair designs, and this is particularly evident in the J16. Also available is a matching footstool.
