The spokeback sofa with sides that can be lowered by characteristic leather straps is one of B›rge Mogensen's most popular models. The sofa was designed in 1945 but the combination of a classic two-seat sofa with English daybed and French chaise long, we was too sophisticated for post-war taste and it did not go into production until 1963.
