In the patented Grip TightTM process, aluminum oxide grit is bonded to a metal base using a metal bonding agent. This metal and abrasive grit composite provides a non-sparking, non-corrosive surface that means surer footing under slippery conditions. Grip TightTM surface withstands contact with oil, gasoline and other chemicals, including alcohol. The surface has no odor or toxic fumes when subjected to high temperatures.

surface can be specified on either a steel on steel or aluminum on aluminum base, with various final finishes available. Steel based products are finished with a standard shop coat of paint applied to the underside surface. A galvanized finish can be applied over the entire surface when a steel bonding agent is specified.
