Splice Plate
Splice Plate Kit
The kit joins continuous sections together in a run over clear spans to act as one continuous unit.
Any combination of 12' and 10' planks can be joined with the splice plate package.
· Eight 9/16" diameter holes in each corner of up-turned kickplate
· Two 16-hole, 12 ga. 4-1/2" x 30" C-channel splice plates with 32 ea. 1/2" x 1-1/4"
hex head cap screws (galv. S.A.E. Grade 5, lightly oiled), washers and hex nuts
· Each corner of upturned kickplate should have eight 9/16" diameter holes
Recommended bolt torque: 72 ft./lb. min.
Splice Plate Package
The kit joins continuous sections together in a run over supports.
· Four 1/2" diameter holes in each corner of up-turned kickplate
· Two 8-hole, 10 ga. 4" x 7" splice plates with 16 ea. 7/16" x 1-1/4" bolts, washers
and hex nuts
· Each corner of upturned kickplate should have four 1/2" diameter holes
Recommended bolt torque: 55 ft./lb. min.

Surface Splice Plate Kit
For widths greater than 12", use of the grating surface splice kit is recommended to mechanically join butt ends of plank sections.
For 18" plank (6 each), 24" plank (6 each), 30" plank (8 each) Handware included: 3/8" x 1 carriage bolts, 3/8" flat washers and bolt seats
Perf-O Grip
Walkway Splice Plate Kit
This kit provides continuity when multiple lengths of Perf-O Grip
are desired. Connections are reinforced with the addition of splice plates attached to side channcels.
For 24", 30" Wide Walkway Kit contains 2 splice plates, 32 each of the following hardware: 1/2" x 1-1/4" hex bolts, 1/2" 13 hex nuts and 1/2" flat washers.
