For applications requiring the cover to be removed and replaced, covers can be fabricated with an elastic cord incorporated into the edge of the cover. Typically the cover is circular in shape and the ends of the cord are installed in a small pocket along the perimeter of the cover. The 3/16" elastic cord is installed to create a cinching effect when installed.
For the shock cord to function, the cover edge has to gather or bunch, therefore the rope or the shock cord pocket has to be at least a 1" layflat pocket. When either of these items are specified on the order, the pocket will be this size or slightly larger. This pocket size does not need to be specified. This will be the standard configuration.
