The Solid-State Starter reduces large spikes on the buildings electrical system. An additional solid state overload relay protects the motor from damage. Also incorporated into this product is a reverse phase relay designed to prevent the motor from plugging because of a line loss.
Applications
The Solid-State Starter is specifically engineered for hydraulic elevator use. It can be installed on hydraulic elevators with 6- or 12-lead delta wound motors. The starter requires an area of approximately 12â? wide by 12â? high by 9â? deep to mount into the existing controller. For proper application, contact your local Otis representative.
